The Selfie Station is a high-tech open-air style photo booth that’s capable of doing more than just taking and printing your selfies for you. It also captures Boomerang Gifs. These are a series of still images which are made into a movie. Warning: They’re strangely addictive and fun to make.

What is a Robot Photo Booth?

What makes the Robot Photo Booth different?

Our Robot Photo Booth takes the premium open-air photo booth experience to the next level. Controlled by a Glam Photobooths attendant, it roams your venue, capturing fun photos, printing them instantly and allowing guests to receive digital copies straight to their phones.

Can the Robot Photo Booth be customised?

Yes. We can personalise the on-screen graphics, printed photo strip design and backdrop to suit your event, theme or branding. The robot itself remains unchanged.

What may incur an additional charge?

The only things that are not included in our standard 4 hour photo booth packages are:

Deluxe Design & Print. (learn more here)
Extra travel time. For events that are located more than 1 hour from our home base in Carrum Downs (Near Frankston)
Parking: For events in Melbourne’s CBD or venues with limited onsite parking, parking costs may apply. Where onsite parking isn’t available, any applicable parking fees will be calculated in advance and included in your invoice.

How do I book a Robot Photo Booth?

1. Take a good look around this website and ask lots of questions (We’re here to help).
2. Contact us for a quote and to confirm that we have a booth available on the date of your event. You can do this over the phone or online via our Online Quote Page.
3. Confirm your booking over the phone or via email so we can lock the date in for you.
4. Pay your booking fee. You can do this via Direct Debit & Pay I.D (email). Payment details can be found on the invoice we send you shortly after you confirm your booking with us.
5. Once we have received your booking fee, we will then send you back an updated invoice for your records.

What parts of Melbourne do you travel to?

We’ll travel anywhere in Melbourne and its surrounding areas. For bookings in Regional Victoria, the extra cost for travel will be discussed and agreed upon up front. Accommodation may also need to be provided depending on the distance and finish time.

How long does it take to set up the Robot Photo Booth?

Our Robot Photo Booth can be set up and ready to go in as little as 45 minutes. However, we always arrive at least 1 hour before the agreed start time. If venue access is restricted or parking is limited, please let us know in advance so we can allow enough time to have everything set up and ready before your event begins.

Where should the Robot Photo Booth be located?

Even though the Robot Photo Booth roams your event, it still needs a dedicated operating area where the backdrop, printer and props are located. A position with minimal foot traffic is ideal, and we’re happy to liaise with your venue to choose the most suitable location.

How much space does it require?

The Robot Photo Booth requires a dedicated operating area of approximately 3 m × 3 m. It’s best suited to larger venues where it has room to move safely amongst your guests. For smaller venues, our Selfie Station or Classic Photo Booth may be a better fit.

How long does it take to print the photo strips?

The photo strips are printed and ready to go in less than 10 seconds.

Do we get digital copies of all the photos?

Yes. At the end of your event, you’ll receive a USB thumb drive with all of the individual high-resolution images and composite photo strips. All your images are captured in high-resolution using a professional quality DSLR camera.

Can the Robot Photo Booth be set up outside?

No. Our Robot Photo Booth requires a dry, weather-protected location with access to power so it can operate safely and reliably.

When and how do we pay?

In order to secure your Photo Booth booking with us, a booking fee of $250 is required. The balance is due 14 days prior to the event. We accept payments via direct debit. Our payment details can be found on our invoice.
